Constructed by Tasia Chiba
Over a thousand years ago, during the age of a beautiful and peaceful millennia, an evil entity sought to control the world and destroy all that was good. This millennia, known as the Silver Millennia, and the Moonkingdom was ruled by a kind Queen named Selenity. She had a daughter, the Princess Selenity, who was deeply in love with the ruling Prince of the Earth, Endymion. A young woman of earth, named Beryl, was jealous of their love and aided the evil force known as Queen Metalia in the process of taking over the universe.
With the earth, now totally destroyed, Prince Endymion goes to the moon to fight for the Moonkingdom and to protect his princess. The journey is dangerous as those from outside of earth are forbidden entrance. The Queen knew his heart and allowed him to stay and help.
Queen Beryl, aided by Queen Metalia, sent her four Generals to destroy the Moonkingdom, the only place left to divert them from their intended course. The Generals, who were once the four great Kings of Earth under Endymion, and his closest friends, attacked the Moon, leaving devastation in their wake.
In the midst of the battle, Beryl murders Endymion, and the Princess dies thereafter. The Queen, saddened at the loss of her beloved daughter, seals all away with the power of the Silver Crystal and sends them to earth, a thousand years into the future.
The story begins with the introductoin of a fourteen year old girl named Tsukino Usagi (Serena in the American version.) One day, on her way to school, she stumbles across a black cat with a crescent moon on her forhead. The cat runs away, but keeps a close eye on Usagi. When Usagi returns home, the cat is there waiting for her. She introduces herself as Luna and tells Usagi that she is a hero named Sailor Moon and must fight to protect the earth from an evil force. At first, she does not believe the cat, who would? A talking cat? But Luna shows her who she is and Usagi cannot help but believe. As the story progresses, it is revealed that there are other Sailor Senshi. First, Sailor Mercury. Second, Sailor Mars. Next is Sailor Jupiter. Then there is Sailor Venus.
As the love between Mamoru and Usagi grows, the Senshi find a new purpose; to find their lost princess. At first, they think she is Sailor Venus, but in a fight against the Nega-Force, it is revealed to be Usagi. She is Princess Serenity and Mamoru is Prince Endymion.
Mamoru is killed and stolen by the Nega-Force, later brought back to life and brained-washed by Queen Beryl and Metalia, becoming an enemy to the Sailor Senshi.
Sailor Moon fights now to prevent Queen Beryl from taking over the universe and to somehow heal Mamoru.
It comes down to a final fight between good and evil. One by one, the Senshi die, and only Sailor Moon is left to fight against the Nega-Force. She heals Prince Endymion and aided by the power of her frindsand love, she seals away Queen Metalia and dies from the use of the Silver Crystal. Her last wish is that they could all lead normal lives.
