::Why?::

-------------------------------------------------------

I've been into anime and manga for several years, and in all that time I have come across characters that hold similarities with myself. But until I came across Tsuzuki Asato from Yami no Matsuei, none of them ever came close enough. My discovery of Tsuzuki-san astounded me. I had original come across the series a few years ago, but at that time, I had not noticed how close we were. One day, I decided to sit down and read straight through all the translations with my manga, and it wasn't until then that I begin to see more and more of his personality. As I continued to read, I began to be amazed at how similar we were in many different aspects.

Over the past year, I have come to empathize more and more with Tsuzuki-san. And I am not the only one to see these similarities. Many of my friend's have noticed this as well, those who are around me in real life and have a better grasp of my personality. I find it truly facinating how similar we really are. Never before has anyone character impressed me this much in regards to fully understanding them. One who shares similar personality traits will understand a character better than if they did not. Even if another character is their favorite, it is harder to understand if they are more different than similar.

Just as there are many similarities, there are a few vast differences. I've not had half as hard a life as he did growing up, but whatever I did face, I was able to come out of it. The both of us have experienced things in our pasts that have created the personality we show to the world. Whereas he was suicidal, I've had experiences that he has not that makes me stubborn. But then, as I already said, my life as a child wasn't even half as hard as his was. Instead of a loving, older sister, I had my Mother who taught me love and beauty of life. And my Grandmother, who taught me not to give in without a fight, and even then, to never give in. I can understand Tsuzuki's pain, but I myself will fight depression with tooth and nail.

Many of my analysis' of Tsuzuki's character I find hard to put into words. I know it more than I can explain it. But at any rate, I will attempt to do so.
